Use the same inputs when comparing quotes

Record the registered-office state, authorised capital, directors and existing valid DSCs. Two quotations using different inputs are not necessarily prices for the same work. An existing certificate must also be usable for the intended signing requirement; selecting it in a form is not technical verification of the certificate.

Keep capital and charges separate

Authorised capital is a company-setup input. Do not add the entire capital amount to a service-fee comparison. In Zeofox's standard company flow, supported authorised capital is capped at ₹15 lakh; a different case needs individual review. The cap is a package boundary, not a claim about the maximum capital permitted for companies.

Check every charge heading

Read the professional fee, the state-duty line, any PAN/TAN allowance and the new DSC package separately. Determine which external charges are confirmed and which are provisional or pending. A subtotal containing only known items is not a final all-inclusive price. A DSC provider charge should not be relabelled as a government incorporation duty.

Count only the new DSCs quoted

The standard flow calculates new DSC requirements from the number of directors minus the selected existing valid DSCs. Review certificate specifications and any additional signatories with the team before purchase. Do not pay twice for an existing usable certificate merely because a generic package assumes everyone needs a new one.

Read the exclusions and validity

Check whether separate name reservation, resubmission work, unusual founder arrangements and post-incorporation compliance are included. Look at quote validity and tax notes. Save a reference after reviewing the inputs. A later change to public prices should not rewrite the original saved quotation, but an expired or incomplete proposal may require a fresh reviewed quote before acceptance.
