UNDERSTAND THE ENGAGEMENT

What this service covers

Preparation and filing assistance for the GSTIN, return forms and periods specified in the accepted quote. Records supplied by the client are reviewed against the agreed reconciliation scope, a draft is shared for confirmation, and authorised filing is coordinated. Monthly billing is a commercial arrangement, not a statement that every GSTIN files monthly. Nil, quarterly, amended and overdue periods require an applicability check.

Who this is for

  • Businesses needing defined recurring or period-specific GST filing assistance.
✓

Included in scope

  • Scope review covering GSTIN, period, filing frequency and forms.
  • Sales/credit-note and purchase records preparation within the quoted volume.
  • Basic GSTR-1/GSTR-3B review and agreed reconciliation.
  • Client confirmation and authorised filing coordination.
  • Available ARN/acknowledgement and exceptions list.
−

Not included

  • GST liability, interest, late fee, penalties and government demands.
  • Unlimited invoices, backlog periods, full bookkeeping and extensive mismatches.
  • Annual returns, refunds, audits, notices, appeals and e-way/e-invoice work unless quoted.
  • An automatic NIL return without confirming actual transactions and liabilities.
THE AGREED OUTPUT

What you can expect

  • Draft return workings for the agreed period.
  • Available filing acknowledgements and unresolved-information list.

Authority-issued certificates or acknowledgements are shared only when actually received. Final scope is recorded in your accepted quotation.

GET YOUR RECORDS READY

Your document checklist

Requirements depend on the entity, signatory, premises and work selected. Share only relevant records in the private order workspace.

REGISTRATION & PERIOD

  • GSTIN and filing-profile/period information; previous returns where relevant.

SALES & PURCHASES

  • Sales invoices, debit/credit notes, advances, exports and reverse-charge details as applicable.
  • Purchase/expense register and relevant GSTR-2B/ITC records for the agreed review.

LIABILITY & CONFIRMATION

  • Payment/challan data, prior adjustments and reconciliation explanations.
  • Authorised signatory readiness and explicit approval of the draft before filing.

Never share account passwords, DSC PINs, private keys or OTPs in a public enquiry. Not every readiness item is a universal statutory upload requirement.

ITEMISED, NOT HIDDEN

Custom scope — reviewed quotation

Professional filing charges do not pay the GST liability. Applicable tax, interest and late fees are shown or assessed separately, using the actual period and portal position.

What affects the quote?

  • Confirm GSTIN count, return period, monthly/quarterly status and transaction volume.
  • A starting monthly fee is not unlimited transactions or backlog coverage.
  • Record reconciliation scope and any amendment periods before agreeing the price.

These rules explain the scope; the server uses your selected service and the operator's configured prices. Unknown duties are not treated as zero. Incomplete/provisional quotes require confirmation before payable acceptance.

  3. Prepare

BEFORE YOU START

Frequently asked questions

Does a monthly package mean everyone files monthly?

No. Statutory filing frequency and the commercial billing period are different.

Can you file a NIL return automatically?

Only after the actual facts and applicable NIL conditions are confirmed.

Are GST dues part of the fee?

No. The professional fee and tax/interest/late fee are separate.

Is full accounting included?

Only if it is expressly listed. Ordinary return assistance does not replace full bookkeeping.

PRACTICAL SERVICE GUIDE

GST return filing support for an organised filing cycle

Registration and returns solve different needs

A GST registration service helps prepare an application. Return support concerns an existing taxpayer's reporting for particular periods. Tell us the GSTIN, constitution, normal or other taxpayer category, filing frequency and the months or quarters requiring work. Do not select a basic registration package to resolve pending returns or an existing departmental notice.

GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and filing frequency

GSTR-1 deals with outward-supply reporting. GSTR-3B is a summary return for the relevant tax period. Eligible taxpayers under QRMP can have quarterly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B with monthly tax-payment requirements. These are different functions; one filing should not be treated as a substitute for another. Applicability, the current period's due dates and any extensions must be checked on the official portal before work is scheduled.

Information that makes a quotation useful

Give an approximate invoice count, the number of GSTINs, the periods to cover and whether the records are reconciled. Mention amendments, credit or debit notes, interstate supplies or export-related records needing review. Explain any backlog at the enquiry stage. These details let the team quote a defined engagement instead of advertising an unrealistically low amount that silently excludes most of the work.

Prepare records for review

Organise sales and purchase records, invoice summaries, relevant credit/debit notes, prior filed returns and available reconciliation workings. Provide the applicable ledger or challan information when requested through the private workspace. Resolve differences with the team before approval; uploading a folder is not confirmation that every transaction has been reviewed. Do not send account passwords, OTPs or DSC PINs through a public contact form.

Separate service fees from liabilities

The quotation should identify the professional fee, the covered GSTINs and periods, the included review and any extra work. Tax payable, interest and statutory late fees are not the professional fee and should not disappear inside a single unexplained headline. Where the return scope or liability is not yet known, request assessment rather than treating an incomplete estimate as the final amount due.

Approve the work and retain the record

Use the order conversation for clarification, approve the agreed output and retain the filing acknowledgement or other agreed evidence. No automated government submission is performed by this quotation page. Notice replies, historical rectification and a GST annual return are separate requirements unless the written engagement expressly includes them. Your previous saved quotation stays a record of its original scope even if the public service fee later changes.
